After the massive success of “Anaconda”, Nicki Minaj now moves on to the release of her next single off her upcoming studio album, The Pinkprint. This one is titled “Only” and finds her joining forces with three major artists: Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown.
“Only” serves as the third single to be lifted from The Pinkprint and is one hell of a slow-burning urban banger. It finds Nicki Minaj continuing the ass-tastic craze with a straightforward verse full of attitude. Guests Wayne and Drake bring their own two cents to the table with their verses over the hip-hop production, while Breezy jumps in there and there to sing the hook. It’s definitely a decent tune, so we’ll have to see how it works out for her.
In other Nicki Minaj-related news, the rapper has decided to push back her forthcoming record, The Pinkprint. With an original release date scheduled for November 24, the fresh premiere of “Only” makes the album’s delay seem a bit normal and make sense. Thankfully, it wasn’t moved forward to next year, with a new date set on December 15.
