Nicki Minaj is still going on strong with the promotion of her third studio album, The Pinkprint. The rapstress picked “The Night Is Still Young” to serve as her next pop single and has premiered the accompanying music video on TIDAL for a while now, but it’s now finally available for everyone to watch on VEVO.
“The Night Is Still Young” serves as a return to the dance-pop sound for Nicki Minaj. Produced by Cirkut and Dr. Luke, and co-penned by Henry Walter, Donnie Lewis, Ester Dean, Ziggy Mcstalin Theron Thomas, Luke and the rapsteress herself, it instantly brings “Starships”, “Pound The Alarm” and “Masquerade” to mind with its catchy and radio-friendly sound. The Hannah Lux Davis-directed visuals are a colorful affair and find her celebration the night’s glory, as well as serving some dance-y kind of movement with her backing ladies.
“The Night Is Still Young” is basically the seventh promotional single that Nicki Minaj has lifted from The Pinkprint. It serves as a follow-up to lead single “Pills N Potions”, the bootylicious “Anaconda, her collaboration with Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown “Only”, the Skylar Grey-assisted “Bed Of Lies”, the Drake and Lil Wayne-featuring “Truffle Butter” and her latest urban single, the Beyoncé duet “Feeling Myself”.
