Nicole Kidman is one of the best working actresses in Hollywood day. She’s best known for her roles in Moulin Rouge and Australia. Now she has a new movie coming out soon, playing a role that is sure to become legendary.
Kidman will star as the iconic Grace Kelly in the new biopic Grace of Monaco.
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, she commented: “It was a real honor to play her. I hope I captured her essence. I mean, you never know, but it won’t be for lack of trying.”
The film, which is due out later this year, already faced its share of criticism as members of the Monaco royal family, more specifically Grace Kelly’s own children have labeled the film as “pure fiction”.
They have had nothing to do with the project.
In response to the backlash, Kidman responded, “I wanted to be respectful of her, her story and her essence so hopefully that will all come through.”
The highly anticipated biopic Grace of Monaco will be released to US audiences on November 27th.
