For fans of the hit Fox show Bones we have been waiting for eight seasons for a Booth/Brennan wedding, and according to sources at TVLine we don’t have long to wait. Show creator Hart Hanson previously said that the wedding “will happen in a way you don’t expect and [at] a time you don’t expect.”

It is believed that the nuptials between Booth and Brennan are being shot THIS week, meaning that we should have a happily married pair before Christmas this year.  Thank you Hart Hanson for giving some fans what they want early in the season, because we have been waiting long enough.

If comments made by executive producer Stephan Nathan are correct, it will be the wedding of the year.

“We’ve been waiting over eight years for this, and we really want to deliver the wedding that everybody hopes for. It’s our intention that when [viewers] get an invitation, it’s well worth wearing a clean suit and buying a nice gift.”

I will be ready and waiting for the wedding of the Fall, and just how cute are they going to make baby Christine look.

Bones returns to Fox on September 16th at 8pm
