Oasis have undoubtedly been a great part of rock music’s history and their current hiatus is not something to be happy about. Even though a reunion would make millions of fans happy, Noel Gallagher doesn’t see it happening anytime soon.
Noel Gallagher was a guest at The Jonathan Ross Show in the weekend and got to discuss Oasis’ future a bit. The bandmate revealed that he has a lot going on at this point, but a reunion of the group is definitely not one of them. In addition to that, he also revealed the current nature of his relationship with his brother, Liam. In his own words:
“I don’t see the appeal. If I close my eyes, I don’t see it happening. That’s not to say that it never will but I’ve got a lot of things going on. There’s no problem [with his brother]. We don’t speak to each other so there’s no problem.”
So much for Glastonbury’s Michael Eavis causing fans to rejoice, after revealing his in talks with Oasis to perform at the festival. As it seems, Noel is definitely not fond of a reunion at this point and they will have to wait a bit longer on the chance of it ever happening.
