The Super Bowl is coming right upon us on Sunday, February 7th at 6:30 pm on CBS. Since it is Super Bowl 50, this celebration will be crazy, so what’s better than having something to do while everyone else is occupied?
Like me, there are many others who aren’t a big fan of football and other sports who would like to have other things to do. You could have a Netflix streaming marathon, play new video games, or play board games. These are just some suggestions on fun activities to occupy yourself.
There are many other activities to do that are fun and exciting. You can watch a new television show, whether on television, Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu. If it is nice out and not too dark where you are, you go outside and explore the area around where you live or even take a drive somewhere.
If you don’t want to go outside and would rather not watch anything on screen or the computer, go read a book, color, and have a sweet cocktail. Chrissa Hardly from Bustle gave 12 things for people to do instead of watching the Super Bowl. The fourth idea on the list is to “[d]ecide not to drive anywhere, and kick back with an adult beverage. Everyone else in the country is doing it, and will most likely be hurting tomorrow, so why not indulge?”
You could also clean your room, organize your closet, and listen to some music can keep you up in your room for the night if you don’t want to interact with the guests downstairs (if there are any).
If you want to venture outside and not be stuck in the house, go to the movie theater, shopping, or go ice skating at rink where not many people will be. Be sure to let us know what ideas you have for the big day that seems big for everyone but you? We want to know!
