NYCC 2014: What’s Next For Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., A Special Preview

PopWrapped’s Tamara Fuentes gives us an insider’s look at NYCC 2014! Check out some of Marvel’s newest ideas, and join the “Coulson Lives” campaign!

It was one of the biggest panels in New York Comic Con history, and there is a reason for that. The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel was the first Main Stage panel to get rid of all it’s wristbands on Friday morning, with many people trying to find other ways in and there’s a good reason for that.

Walking into the Main Stage, everyone was pumped and excited to see what Marvel was going to announce next, and they did not disappoint. Men in black suits dressed up as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents with night vision goggles walked around just to make sure no one was going to spill any of the biggest secrets of the panel, especially with one of it’s biggest releases.

First up, Marvel’s Executive Vice President and Head of Television Jeph Loeb came out and spoke about his love for New York Comic Con.

Clark Gregg joined him shortly after with the entire crowd doing Coulson chants as he hit the stage. Loeb spoke about how spirited the fans have been about the series, especially before the series was confirmed and fans were writing in letters and taking part of the “Coulson Lives” campaign.

The duo then went off the stage to show the next episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which did not disappoint. Next the duo came back up stating that time was up but not until Clark Gregg pulled out a DVD of a preview of Marvel’s newest show Agent Carter.

The clip, which actually was filmed that Monday, featured Hayley Atwell, James D’Arcy, and Dominic Copper as Peggy Carter, Edwin Jarvis, and Howard Stark, respectively. While we can’t share what happened in the clip, we can say this, January is well worth the wait.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC. Marvel’s Agent Carter will premiere on January 2015 also on ABC.
