British singer Olly Murs has premiered a new music video for his single ‘Look at the Sky’ off his new album Never Been Better.
The song is a promotional single for the release of his album in Japan. It is an English adaptation of a famous Japanese song titled ‘Ue o Muite Arukō’ (I Look Up As I Walk ) better known as ‘Sukiyaki’ in anglophone countries.
‘Ue o Muite Arukō’ is one of the best selling singles of all time, and was originally performed by Kyu Sakamoto and was written by Hachidai Nakamura. The lyrics for Olly Murs’ version were translated by Yoko Ono.
The accompanying music video was directed by Yuichiro Sato, and featured scenes in a Japanese city.
The Japanese version of Never Been Better, will feature four additional new songs, which will include ‘Look At The Sky’.
