Olly Murs released his latest studio album, Never Been Better, late last year and is currently deep into the promotional era. The singer has not only picked “Seasons” to serve as the next single from the record, but he also premiered the accompanying music video.
The Ben Turner-directed visuals for the Ryan Tedder co-penned tune find the British crooner caught in bed with another girl by his lover and kicked out. Olly Murs then starts walking on the streets and tries to make his beloved one forgive him. While at it, he takes an endless stroll down the streets, all the way through the seasons. From autumn and winter, to spring and summer, it’s an entertaining affair to watch, while it manages to fit both the lyrics of the track and the playful mood of its guitar-pop sound.
“Seasons” serves as the third official offering to be lifted from the singer’s fourth studio album, Never Been Better, as “Look At The Sky” was only a promotional release for the Japanese market. The track is a follow-up to the Travie McCoy-assisted lead sigle, “Wrapped Up”, and the duet Olly Murs did with Demi Lovato, “Up”. Check out the brand-new music video below.
