Olly Murs recently announced the release of his upcoming, fourth studio album, Never Been Better. The record is preceded by his Travie McCoy-assisted lead single, “Wrapped Up”, which has now arrived along with its lyric video.
The Essex singer joined forces with the Gym Class Heroes’ frontman to create an ode to a beautiful lady who’s got him on his knees. The track serves as an upbeat, crystal-clear pop anthem, in Murs’ well-known style. It’s extremely catchy and radio-friendly, with the potential to become a hit, while McCoy’s verse totally adds some extra appeal. As a matter of fact, it sounds pretty much like the first thing coming to mind when hearing Olly Murs team up with Travie McCoy.
The accompanying lyric video finds the lyrics of the song going to town and being written on top of everywhere possible. Fancy letters and everything aside, we also get to watch some people in daily activities.
“Wrapped Up” is the first offering from Olly Murs’ forthcoming studio album, Never Been Better. The track will be available for purchase on November 16, almost a week before the record’s release date on November 24. The singer will later go on tour to promote his new tunes and give fans a chance to see him live.
