At the opening ceremonies of the 2014 Sochi Olympics, the Russian Police Choir proved that sports aren’t the only thing that can bring the entire world together. The group chose to cover the Grammy-winning record of the year, Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky”. And, you know what? It was a hit!
The group looked sharp in their police uniforms as they performed in Fisht Stadium. While some police officers (also called politsiya) got down with the music, others remained awkwardly stiff while performing the catchy dance hit. Either way, the performance was incredible and proved that the power of music can leave the whole world buzzing!
