According to Broadway World, the already injury prone Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark has seen another serious accident take place.
A spokesperson for the show has confirmed that an actor was injured on stage Thursday night and is now in serious condition.
Broadway World is reporting that the FDNY has said, “a piece of equipment pinned an actor’s leg underneath it, causing the injury.”
An official statement has been given by Rick Miramontez, the spokesperson for Spider-Man, reading: “The performance was immediately halted and the actor was taken to the hospital where he is receiving medical attention.”
The actor’s name has not been given at this point in time.
