One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson is out for reporter Jenn Selby’s blood (no, not literally). The Independent, on Monday, ran a story that reported that Tomlinson wore a t-shirt featuring the Apple companies rainbow logo in order to support Tim Cook, Apple’s gay CEO. Tomlinson felt that Selby was accusing him of being gay and he reacted…rather strongly via twitter. Here are his tweets below:
@JennSelby The fact that you work for such a 'credible' paper and you would talk such rubbish is laughable. I am in fact straight.

@JennSelby Google 'original apple logo' and you will see the one printed on my shirt that you reported on. Trying to look for a promotion ?

Selby responded to Tomlinson’s tweets by clarifying that at no point had she insinuated that he was gay and that she was simply commending him for supporting Cook. She also stated that being called gay should never be an insult and that one should be proud for standing up for LGBT rights. Here are her reponse tweets:
Hi @Louis_Tomlinson thank you for your tweet. I'm sorry you found our article in any way insulting…
