We all know the importance of proofreading.
However, someone may want to give Bank of America’s employees a quick review of how that works.
The mother of freelance writer Lisa McIntire received a seemingly normal letter in the mail the other day, addressed to her daughter—a credit card offer from Bank of America.
However, the envelope read “Lisa Is a Slut McIntire”.
Understandably confused, McIntire’s mother text her and sent her some photos of the letter,
McIntire decided to share the bizarre phenomenon with the world through her Twitter account.
It’s a credit card offer, apparently? I am still discomfited. pic.twitter.com/h1qGPtB15P

Hi @BofA_Help. I just received a credit card offer from you that addressed me as “Lisa Is A Slut McIntire.” pic.twitter.com/7OeNZSlNhX

Bank of America responded to her tweets and asked for contact information so that they could discuss the issue.
She later updated, saying that the matter was under investigation.
They haven’t been able to pinpoint how “Is A Slut” became my middle name, but they’re still investigating.

Credit card offers are always a bit irritating, but this is just ridiculous.
