The people who have been boycotting the move Ender’s Game might be surprised to learn that there might have been no point.

Activists have been boycotting the movie after Orson Scott Card, the author of the novel that the movie is based off of, expressed homophobic views. Although the actors and filmmakers associated with the film have made it clear that they do not share these views, activists have continued to call for a boycott.
However, it turns out that Card will not be making any percentage of the tickets that are sold. Card was given a lump sum at the beginning of the project, and will not receive any more as the movie hits theaters, so a boycott won’t affect Card at all.
Does this mean that activists won’t be boycotting the movie anymore? We’ll let you know if we find out!
