Star Wars fans and fans of The Big Bang Theory have something to celebrate in just over a month’s time.
Lucasfilms has announced that in celebration of May the 4th (Star Wars Day), CBS will be airing a very special Star Wars themed episode of The Big Bang Theory.
It is definitely going to be an epic episode thanks to the network’s decision to bring in some of the special effects technicians from Lucasfilms.
In fact, they will even be designing a version of the legendary Star Wars planet, Dagobah, where Luke met Yoda for the first time in the film The Empire Strikes Back.
Though there have been no real details released, we do know that the episode synopsis has Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, going through some type of journey with his mentor Professor Proton, played by Bob Newhart.
At this point there is no word on if other members of the cast will get the Star Wars experience, but keep your eyes and ears open when the episode airs on May 1st at 8/7 central on your local CBS station.
