Nick Carter opened up on his new book Facing The Music And Living To Talk About It. In the book, he talks about the temptations while being on tour and his battle with alcoholism and drugs.
Carter mentions his relationship with Paris Hilton back in 2004.
He said that it “fed [his] word impulses as far as partying” and that “he took ecstasy, cocaine and drank a large bottle of vodka a night” at the height of his problems.
Now Paris Hilton released a statement to Access Hollywood in response to Carter’s allegations:
“I don’t believe I was a negative influence on Nick, we dated for a very short period of time almost ten years ago and when we met he was already a successful popstar – I’m pretty sure that was the only thing influencing him at the time. I’m glad he got help for his problems and wish him all the best.
Nick Carter and Paris Hilton dated in 2004 when Hilton was starring in The Simple Life.
Carter is currently engaged to long-term girlfriend Lauren Kitt.
