Singer/songwriter Paul McDonald is kickstarting his solo career.

A top ten finalist on American Idol season 10, the Nashville native is now ready to show the world what he’s got.

“Bright Lights” is his most recent single, and showcases his easily-recognizable, mellow vocals. It doesn’t take very long to draw you in, and if this is any indication of the album he’s working on, it will be on repeat for a long time.

I decided to start this campaign in an attempt to rally both my friends and fans, in the hopes that you’ll all be inspired to get behind my latest musical endeavor and be a part of what I feel will be my strongest album to date. I’m heading down a somewhat unfamiliar path, and I’m both humbled and excited to share this journey with you.

His Kickstarter goal is $20,000 and, as usual with these campaigns, the exclusives that you’ll gain access to only get more and more amazing as you donate higher amounts.
