The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office released the horrifying autopsy details on Friday.
According the the reports, The Fast & Furious star died of traumatic and thermal injuries, with no sigh of alcohol or drugs in his system. The same was said for Roger Rodas, Walker’s friend and business partner, who was driving the Porsche Carrera GT at approximately 100mph when he lost control for unknown reasons.
The documents state that Walker had multiple fractures throughout his body, including his jaw, collarbone, left upper arm, ribs and pelvis. The body was found in a defensive position or “pugilistic stance”.
There was a 14% carbon monoxide saturation in Paul’s bloodstream, while Roger’s was at 10%. Such high percentages can cause death by asphyxiation.
The also found “scant soot in Walker’s trachea” which means he may have taken a few breaths after the crash.
Walker’s organs were severely damaged and burned, meaning that none of them were viable for organ donation.
The accident occurred on Saturday, November 30, when Walker and Rodas took the car for a ride after a charity event to benefit the victims of Typhoon Haitan. They crashed in Santa Clarita, north of Los Angeles at approximately 3:35pm, with 911 being called six minutes later; but sadly it was too late for the star and his friend.
