Paul Walker’s mother has filed a petition for custody of the late actor’s daughter, Meadow Rain.
Cheryl Ann Walker is hoping to receive full guardianship of 15-year-old Meadow after filing a petition with the court Tuesday, citing that, “the mother has a drinking problem.”
photo courtesy of Mariotto/INFphoto.comThe papers state that Cheryl is “a loving and responsible person. She works as a registered nurse. She has raised her own four children…Petitioner will act as the guardian of the person and estate of the minor.”
The petition also states that Meadow has been living with her grandmother in L.A. since August 2012. Her mother, Rebecca Jo Soteros, is also currently living with the two.
Meadow was the sole beneficiary of Paul Walker’s estate after his tragic death in a car accident last December.
The hearing for the guardianship petition is scheduled for April 30.
