Penny Dreadful has released a batch of its season 2 character posters, which feature Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway) and his first creation Creature (Rory Kinnear). Both Frankenstein and Creature look like they’re going through hell; if that’s any indication of season 2, then it’s not looking good for these two.

Penny Dreadful was renewed for a 10-episode second season by Showtime back in June, after managing to make a successful debut and attract a decent number of fans. For those of you who are unaware and more than a little curious, Penny Dreadful is a psychological thriller that delves into the origin stories of classic literature characters, such as Dr. Frankenstein and Dorian Grey, along with a group of new, series original characters. The critically acclaimed series has an amazing cast that features Josh Hartnett (30 Days of Night), Eva Green (Casino Royale), Billie Piper (Doctor Who), and many many more!
