Showtime renewed its hit series Penny Dreadful for Season 3, much to fans’ delight. Though a date hasn’t been set, the next season will most likely begin next May or June and is confirmed to film in Dublin this fall for nine episodes. The series stars Josh Hartnett, Eva Green and legend Timothy Dalton. The show, currently on Season 2, will air its finale on July 5th.
Penny Dreadful is a period piece filled with literary monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein. It’s man vs. monster and almost guaranteed to give viewers nightmares. The show has been a huge success for Showtime both on air and in DVD sales.
