Fox has decided to move forward with a new drama series based on the well known Peter Pan tale. According to Deadline, the Fox network has shown interest in a potential series based on the lost boys 15 years after the events of the original story, post Neverland. The lost boys, all now located in Los Angeles of course, have drifted apart but are soon brought back together when it becomes apparent they are being targeted in a series of murders.
Andrew Miller, who’s known for helming the CW series The Secret Circle, is attached to conceptualize the pilot, and will have no relation to the old script created more than two years ago. A murder-mystery version of the classic tale is largely unexpected, but with the success of many crime dramas on television at the moment and a well known story, perhaps it could be a hit series for Fox.
