The New York City medical examiner’s office released the results of Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman’s autopsy earlier today.
Spokeswoman Julie Bolcer confirmed that a deadly mix of heroin, cocaine, and benzodiazepines were found in Hoffman’s system, and it was indeed an accident.
The actor was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on February 2, and although an accidental drug overdose appeared to be the cause of his death, the first autopsy was ruled to be inconclusive.
