Here’s a story that would warm the coldest of hearts! Recently, Joanie (a pitbull) was found wandering the streets of Savannah, Georgia with her little Chihuahua friend Chachi, in her mouth. Not only did Joanie provide Chachi some much needed transportation, but she also tried to clean Chachi’s infected eye from time to time.
The dogs were eventually picked up by Animal Control and separated for a brief time. In that time, Chachi’s bad eye was removed and both were given time to recuperate. Thankfully, the two were not separated for long. Both Joanie and Chachi were adopted by the same owner and will be living happily ever after (together) in Florida.
