Players To Receive In-Game Cash For GTA Online Glitches

Bad news for those of you struck by the resent loss of a fave character in GTA 5… 

They ain’t coming back!

At least not according to

Rockstar

who revealed on Rockstar Newswire that even though their patch will stop you from losing any more characters, the ones you’ve already lost can’t be returned to you. 

“For those that are still having any technical issues, as mentioned above there is a title update coming next week that will include more fixes including the vehicle loss one. And we will remain committed to continuing to fine-tune the game to address any and all issues to get GTA Online running as smooth as possible.” 

“For those asking about their lost characters or rank, those will not be able to be restored so we sincerely hope that this cash stimulus we’re giving out this month will help you get back on your feet or to make your new life in Los Santos & Blaine extra sweet.” 

Well, that certainly should lessen the blow. 

Rockstar also confirmed that the much awaited, “Heists” will bounce onto GTA Online very soon. 

If you’re a player who’s been impacted by the glitch-laden launch of GTA Online, you’ll be receiving $500,000 in in-game cash via two installments.

Please note: you only qualify for the compensation if you have played GTA Online at least once during this month of October, and have installed the upcoming 1.04 update for GTA 5. You’ll need to install this anyway if you want to eliminate the present glitches. 

It’s a shame GTA Online has been so plagued by difficulty from the get go! The lost characters, progress, items, in-game cash, etc., were a menace for both Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers. But at least things are looking up now! 

This is the latest and fullest update Rockstar will have distributed for the game, with Patch 1.03 currently available as a temporary solution for more avid players.
