Staff Writer

One of our staff members, Deanne Cooper, came to us with an inspired idea, we start a Pop Five here at PopWrapped, a countdown of 5 somethings that we think ‘pop’! Thanks to her, we will begin doing the PopWrapped Pop Five!

I found myself laying in bed watching Raising Hope, when I started thinking about the top 5 catchiest T.V theme songs. These were chosen by our staff, so feel free to agree with our choices, or disagree and suggest ones you think we may have seriously overlooked. Here’s our list:

“Thank You For Being Friend”:
An inspired choice made by our awesome editor Zach! Not only a great show with wonderful women, but a song that carries a positive message!

4.)

Two And Half Men

“Manly Men”:
Even though Charlie Sheen is no longer with this show, this song will always be one of those you will sing ANYTIME you hear it, or whenever you think of the series.

Raising Hope

“Here We Go”:
A personal favorite of mine! I sing it to my son all the time to be funny, and I always giggle when they sing about letting it roll like a jelly roll. This series is just as good as it’s sister series

My Name Is Earl

and has loads of connections to the series. Here we go, oh oh ohhh!

rue Blood

“I Wanna Do Bad Things With You”:
I don’t know what it is about this damn song, but I always feel like singing it! It’s as close to country music as most people are willing to get these days, assuming they don’t like country. When I hear this song, I wanna get up and dance, maybe even take a trip down south. Otherwise, it’s a great song!

Last but defintely NOT least, we give you the Number 1 Catchiest Theme song! This was a easy choice and a shoe in for first place! It’s……….

The Big Bang Theory

! I’ve heard folks try and belt this out on karaoke night and seeing the sad looks on their faces as they fail to get any of the words correct. To be fair, I think almost everyone has come across this issue when it come to the Barenaked Ladies and their crazy lead singer! I admit, I still don’t know the words to “One Week.” Hell, I even try to learn this theme song anytime I walk in a room that happens to be playing it. I still can’t get it right, but it’s always fun to try!
