If you’ve been keeping up with me on social media at all in the past six months, you’ll know that during The Voice this past season I was rooting for nerdy-rocker Will Champlin to go all the way! Though we know the title went to Tessanne, Will had a magnificent run.

Even against what seemed like insurmountable odds, Will escaped elimination time and time again and fought his way into the finale finishing third overall. And even though he didn’t take home the title, his name and voice have spread across the world and I gained a new artist to fill my iPod with.

This past week, Will announced the first few dates of us upcoming tour. “#Champs I’m hitting the road with some new tunes! Check me out at a venue near you! VIP Tickets include a special meet & greet plus cool surprises, so come join the party!” (Check out tour dates here!)

Will also performed at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) to a packed house this past Saturday night. The set was compiled mostly of new, original music with few covers to bookend the set. We were able to snag a spot right up front to get some great photos and videos of Popwrapped’s favorite Music Man.
