Zachary Levi sat down with Hollywood Life for an exclusive interview on June 4th, where he discussed his desire to make a Chuck movie, maybe even multiples.
He said, “I still feel like doing a movie, or maybe a bunch of different movies.” He’s quoted in the interview confirming the rest of the cast’s commitment, but the issues are getting them together and writing a script. As a new fan to the Chuckverse, i would be over the moon for more!
Chuck premiered in 2007 and came to a heartbreaking end in 2012. On twitter, the fans constantly petition for more Chuck, and Levi may be granting their wish.
On the topic, Levi said, “I feel like that would be a really fun way to revisit those characters in that world. It’s really difficult to get an entire cast back together to do a series.”
Chuck is a beloved series, and one that fans would gladly join a Kickstarter fund for, much like Veronica Mars, though Levi is opposed to that method.
Levi knows about reboots, as he will be apart of NBC’s reboot of Heroes. We’re in a time where things are constantly being reborn; Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Terminator, and more.
