If you were a fan of Syfy’s Sharknado, a horror flick about a tornado that lifts sharks out of the ocean, then you’re in for a treat. There’s going to be a sequel –and the cast has been revealed!
Sharknado 2: The Second One is due to start production next week and Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath, Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick, Judah Friedlander, and Judd Hirsch have all been cast!
The movie will take place on the streets of New York City, where a strange weather occurrence will take sharks out of the ocean and dump them in the city to wreak havoc. Producers are looking to feature many cameo roles, all from famous New York City locales.
The original movie, which featured awful acting and special effects, took over social media, becoming the center of many jokes, especially from celebrities. We can only expect that the sequel will follow in the footsteps of the original.
You can catch all the shark-filled action when Sharknado: The Second One premieres on Syfy in July 2014.
