I mean, I’m pretty sure he was already set for life, considering who Mommy is, but a pay day is a pay day!!

Oscar-, Golden Globe- and Grammy-winning superstar Adele’s 1-year-old son Angelo Adkins claimed a victory in court he has no knowledge of.

Adele and partner Simon Konecki brought a suit against photo agency Corbis Images UK Limited after photos of their newborn (who was born October 2012) were made public in British tabloids.

Lawyers for Adele said in court that she was VERY specific in not wanting photos of her son becoming “public property”.

Solicitor Jenny Afia said in court, “It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family’s wishes. These images were taken during private, recreational time unconnected with professional or public engagements. They represent a clear infringement of our client’s right to privacy.”

Corbis has agreed to pay damages and legal costs to Angelo, as well as never using the pictures again. Sources closes to Adele and Konecki are saying the parents are planning to put the money in a trust for the young boy.

It should be noted that privacy laws in the UK are taken much more seriously than in the States.
