Prince made his way to the social media, right before releasing his latest couple of albums this autumn. However, it seems he no longer has interest in being social online, as he has now gone and made a grand exit from the world of the internet.
The singer not only deleted both his profiles on Facebook and Twitter all at once, but he also removed most of his music from YouTube. The weird thing is, he left a couple of live shows there and didn’t get any song off streaming services. No official statement has been made public about his sudden departure from the social media, as his team did not respond to questions about the incident.
It’s true that Prince is not your average artist, so it’s impossible to imagine what he has in mind. On the one hand, it could be his disapproval of the internet in general that drove him to make a sweet escape from it, which he has expressed now and again. On the other, , he could also have something in the works and related to all this.
