Project Runway Baring All Is Too Much L.A. To Handle!

The streak of nakedness this summer is proving too much for the normally steamy and sexy Los Angeles. The city has placed a ban on the advertisements for Project Runway’s upcoming 12th season, deeming the advertising too “obscene.”

The ad depicts show creator Heidi Klum, and her sidekick Tim Gunn, dressed head-to-toe in 18th century garb surrounded by a group of naked models.

According to Huffington Post, the city that can boast being the “porn and celebrity capitol of the US” just can’t handle the washboard abs, side-boob and ass-baring imagery from the “Fashion Reigns” campaign.

The city has asked for a version with underwear to be used as a replacement which sent Heidi to twitter for some fast action to fix the issue.

“@ProjectRunway Designers! We need clothing for these people!” Klum joked, sharing the image on Twitter. “Fast! Season 12 starts July 18th on @lifetimetv!”

According to Too Fab‘s poll results, 61 percent of readers thought the banned ad below was “fine,” while 39 percent thought it was “inappropriate”.

Majority didn’t win on this one, but we’re still excited for the next season of Runway!
