Queen Elizabeth II sent praise to a charity named the London Lesbian And Gay Switchboard, which is a helpline for struggling LGBT teens, wishing them a happy 40th anniversary in a special message!

“Best wishes and congratulations to all concerned on this most special anniversary,” she said.

This is supposedly the first time the Queen has spoken out about the gay community, so this is definitely a big deal!
