Rapper Christ Bearer (a.k.a. Andre Johnson) is currently in critical condition at a Hollywood hospital after he severed his penis and jumped from the second floor of an apartment building in what is thought to be a suicide attempt.
Two associates of Johnson were with him in the early morning hours of April 16th when they witnessed him mutilate his genitals with a knife then leap from the balcony.
The men claimed they ran downstairs to find Johnson on his feet and screaming on the sidewalk below. They also told TMZ Johnson’s actions came without warning and that he was not “on any hard drugs that would cause him to do such a thing.”
Reportedly attempts to re-attach the musician’s penis have failed.
Members of renowned rap group Wu-Tang Clan discovered Christ Bearer and his group Northstar, and Wu-Tang’s RZA produced Northstar’s first album.
We can only hope that he gets the right help to recover from this sad day.
