It’s no secret Ravenswood is a mysterious town. We were first introduced to the town this season of Pretty Little Liars in episode six, “Under the Gun,” and it didn’t lack in creepiness.

So when the 16-second clip came on and you heard the creepy score and saw the dark atmosphere, you knew it had to deal with the PLL spinoff. The teaser cuts to different parts of the town including to a cemetery and a dead raven that were both seen in “Under the Gun.”

Although we may have seen those parts before, the music and the text that reads “The darkness comes to life” adds to the suspense. A solemn looking Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) also makes a quick appearance and we can’t help but wonder what brings him to the town we all want to avoid. Is he heartbroken over Hanna or is something else bothering the brooding boy?

Ravenswood brings together Blackburn with other young stars including Nicole Anderson, Brett Dier, Britne OldFord and Merritt Patterson. It will follow a group of strangers brought together by a deadly curse. If it’s anything like Pretty Little Liars, we’ll definitely be tuning in!

Take a look at the new teaser below and tune in to the premiere this October!
