Night at the Museum 3 has just gotten a little bit funnier. This time the comedy will come from a decidedly female corner as Rebel Wilson has joined the cast of the comedy sequel.
The Pitch Perfect and Struck By Lightning actress will star alongside returning cats members Ben Stiller and Robin Williams according to Deadline.
The third outing in a museum takes place in London’s British Museum. It is reported that Wilson will play a night guard at the museum. Given the proliferation of Aussies in the English capital, it is feasible that Wilson’s character could be one of the thousands of Australians who venture back to the Mother Country for work and play.
The all-star cast also features Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens, Ricky Gervais and Owen Wilson.
Night at the Museum 3 is set for a Christmas Day US release with a Boxing Day release in the UK.
