After rumors that Captain America, played by Chris Evans, would be killed off in Avengers 2: Age Of Ultron, Cap fans were devastated. But recent rumors, claiming that his death would come even sooner, in Captain America: Winter Solider followed by confirmation from Chris Evans on retirement after the movies release will send Cap lovers over the edge.

Anyone who read the comics will remember that Captain America dies only to be replaced by the Winter Soldier. So it seems as though the movies are headed in the same direction.

But the real surprise comes from Chris Evans’ retirement. In a recent interview, Evans stated, “I think when I’m done with this Marvel contract, I’ll take a little break from acting, with acting, you’re one piece in a very big puzzle…This process [directing], you’re involved in every single decision.
