It’s officially official: Mulder and Scully’s return to TV will happen early next year. That’s right folks; Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny will be reprising their iconic roles and returning to the eerie world of The X-Files with a premiere date set for January 24th, 2016. Fox will premiere its revival of The X-Files at 10 p.m., directly after the NFC Championship Game.
The X-Files highly anticipated and blessed resurrection will, sadly, only last for 6 episodes! But, that’s better than nothing! Hopefully, this 6 episode-event will be more than enough to satisfy yearning fans and neatly wrap up character story-lines.
