Anthony Morris III, a member of the governing body of Jehovah’s witnesses has lambasted tight pants on a sermon he made last Saturday (Nov. 8). He has warned male members of his congregation that it is a plot by gay designers to get people to wear ‘indecent’ clothing.

“What’s happened now is that it’s really caught on more – the tight suit jacket and the tight pants. Better known as tight pants. They are tight all the way down to the ankles. It’s not appropriate. It’s not sound of mind,” Morris said during the sermon.

Not satisfied with attacking the current trends in men’s fashion, the religious leader also went on a tirade against women wearing spanx and other forms of tight exercise clothes.

“Some of our sisters, what it is are these spanx… these skin tight stuff they wear, when they exercise, they leave their home and they’re jogging in this stuff. Look at the verse. Is that appropriate to wear skin tight spanx or whatever they call it? It’s not modest and it’s certainly not sound of mind. It’s really not appropriate,” Morris said.

Well, we are all aware that the Devil Wears Prada…not sure if it’s tight though. You can have a listen to an audio clip of the sermon below.
