Here comes the sun, indeed! The Grammys, airing on January 26, are sure to be a walk down Abbey Road when Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney grace the same stage to perform.
Even though both artists have been confirmed as performers, however, it is still unclear whether or not they will take the stage together, or separately.
While it’s not nearly as exciting as the prospect of one-half of a Beatles reunion, Taylor Swift, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, John Legend and Keith Urban and Kacey Musgraves have also been announced as performers for music’s biggest night.
And that lineup is in addition to the already heavily stacked list of performers revealed: Katy Perry, Metallica, Lang Lang, Nate Ruess, Chicago, Lorde, Robin Thicke, Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar. And let us not forget that Pharrel Williams will be giving a performance alongside the incomparable Stevie Wonder, as well as Daft Punk and Nile Rodgers. Oh, and did I mention a collaboration of legends featuring Merle Haggard, Blake Shelton (the least-legendy of them all, obviously), Kris Kristofferson and the one and only Willie Nelson.
Acting as emcee for the night of musical madness is “Mama Said Knock You Out” rapper, LL Cool J.
