Robert De Niro fans, rejoice.
De Niro is being considered for the lead role in Gambling Man, the gambling memoir of Gary Green that Borsalino Films has recently acquired the rights to. The book combines anecdotes from the casino boss’s career.
Evidently, writers and directors still haven’t been found for the film. Robert De Niro is one of the actors being considered among others, but nothing has officially been decided yet.
De Niro’s latest films include American Hustle and Grudge Match, along with Bag Man, The Intern, and Hands of Stone.
Of course, we will all go to see American Hustle (hello, Jennifer Lawrence) and perhaps Grudge Match (Rocky flashbacks, anyone?), but oh boy wouldn’t we just love to see Robert De Niro as a casino boss!
