Robin Thicke provided us with what might be the song of the summer, “Blurred Lines,” and now he’s revealed the artwork for his upcoming album also titled Blurred Lines.
‘Blurred Lines” is the first song on the album and the first single released thus far off of the record. Thicke told Digital Spy that the single “represents the sense of humor and the light-heartedness, and yet the soulful vocals that the whole album will have.”
If the other tracks off of Thicke’s record are like “Blurred Lines,” it will surely dominate the charts. Who can deny the infectious energy of the song?
Thicke also confirmed that Kendrick Lamar will be featured on the next single to be released off the album, titled “Give It 2 U”.
“I wrote it with will.i.am and Dr Luke did the track. It’s a big fun dance anthem. It’s a blast,” Thicke told Digital Spy.
Earlier this week, Thicke’s hit single “Blurred Lines” reached number one on the US Hot 100 chart.
Blurred Lines will be released in the UK on July 8 and in the US a day later.
