Ron Howard On Arrested Development: ‘Everybody Wants To Do More’

Staff Writer

What’s in store for the future of Arrested Development? Producer and narrator of the show Ron Howard has high hopes for continuing the show’s revival.
“Everybody wants to do more,” Howard said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly Radio.
“Mitch [Hurwitz] did initiate the whole thing as the beginning of a kind of mystery that needs to be solved. Somehow or another, I’d be shocked if we didn’t find a way to solve it and do that,” he continued.
Of course the whole cast is on board for more, but Howard commented on the fact that the star studded cast – which includes Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, and David Cross – all have conflicting schedules of their own.
“Everybody is incredibly busy,” he explained. “There’s no timetable. No writing has begun.”
On the bright side, Howard added, “Creatively, I think it is everybody’s intention [to do more].”
As fans wait for upcoming Arrested Development  productions – such as a possible movie by producer Mitch Hurwitz and a fifth season – Bravo will be airing Inside the Actors Studio featuring the cast Arrested Development.
The episode of Inside the Actors Studio will air on Thursday, November 7 at 8pm EST.
