Fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race are in for a long-awaited treat this March when season 7 of the popular drag reality competition show will premiere on Logo.
As with last season, the entire cast recorded a cover album titled, “RuPaul Presents: The CoverGurlz2”. The album features teaser music videos featuring queens from the upcoming season which released today on YouTube via World of Wonder’s WOW! Presents network. The songs are available on iTunes, and can be downloaded here.
The season premieres after much anticipation and delayed release from the normal January air date. A trailer released last week showed the addition of two new judges, Carson Kressley and Ross Matthews, as well as the return of “Celebrity Big Brother” contestant Michelle Visage. Visage is currently in the running to win “Celebrity Big Brother” and an online voting campaign has fans of the show rallying to vote for her via her Twitter.
For the past two months the show has teased via a commercial featuring RuPaul saying “You have no idea”, leading many fans to believe exciting new changes are in store for the show this season (and validated by the new judge additions).
