Gosling is set to make his directorial debut with the film, “How to Catch a Monster”!
With a title like that it is only natural that the Doctor makes an appearance in the film, but unfortunately for us Whovians, not actually as the Doctor. Variety reported that Matt Smith has landed the male lead role in the flick! Joining Christina Hendricks and Eva Mendes on the cast list.
Variety states that the films is, “set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city and centered on a single mother of two being swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town.”
The film’s production will start sometime in the spring.
