Ryan Gosling And His Mighty Moustache Cuts In On Russell Crowe’s Speech

Russell Crowe was just minding his own business, announcing a category for the AACTA Awards when Ryan Gosling crashed the party.

Male or female, we all sort of, love Ryan Gosling. So its no surprise that Russell Crowe was anything but inviting of Gosling interrupting his announcement of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) awards nominees.

As Crowe was preparing to announce the nominees for Best Supporting Actress via live video link from Los Angeles, Gosling appeared next to him, asking: “What’s going on?”

When he realized Crowe was speaking at the awards ceremony, Gosling said: “You won? Congratulations!” before he was corrected.

Crowe then went on to introduce Gosling to the audience, making a joke about Gosling’s notorious shirtlessness: “Ladies and gentlemen, you may not recognize him with his clothes on.”

Gosling then mustered his best Australian accent, followed by his claim that he is now an “honorary Australian”, after having lived in New Zealand for two years.

When Crowe brought to his attention that Australia and New Zealand were two different countries, Gosling hinted that the producers could “cut that part out”.

Crowe and Gosling are currently filming for their upcoming crime thriller “The Nice Guys,” due for release in summer 2016.
