It looks like Will Smith and Jay-Z will have to keep looking for their Miss Hannigan. It was reported earlier in the month that Sandra Bullock may be on board to reprise the iconic role played brilliantly by Carol Burnett thirty-one years ago.
Sandy initially turned the role down, but later agreed to further negotiations. Apparently a deal was never finalized and Bullock will not appear in the film, a source closely affiliated with production stated.
Pint-sized cutie and Oscar-nominated actress Quvenzhané Wallis has been approached to play Annie, while Jamie Foxx has been tapped to play Daddy Warbucks.
This Annie reprisal is set for released on Christmas Day, 2014.
