Sarah Drew is known for playing Dr. April Kepner on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. Even though the actress’ character is currently pregant and something might be wrong with her baby on the show, the same doesn’t apply for real life, thankfully. Reportedly, she has now become a mother to her second child, a daughter.
On December 3, Sarah Drew and husband Peter Lanfer got another member to add in the family, Hannah Mali Rose. The newly born baby arrived almost a month early, but is perfectly healthy. When born, she weighed 6 lbs., 14 oz. and was 21 inches in height. In a statement regarding her daughter’s birth the actress said:
“We are thrilled to welcome baby Hannah Mali Rose to our family. Although we kept her gender a surprise until her birthday, Micah [their son] somehow knew she’d be a girl from the moment we told him we were pregnant. He is over the moon to be big brother to sweet Hannah.”
The newborn girl is Sarah Drew’s second child, as she and her husband are already parents to Micah Emmanuel, who will be 3 years old this coming January. Here’s to hoping this new member gives them even more joy and they have a happy life together. Congratulations!
