Saturday Night Live’s December Host Slate = Awesome

Saturday Night Live has just announced its hosts for December, and you would be hard-pressed to not agree that these are some incredible choices.

On December 6th, James Franco will host for the third time, having previously hosted in 2008 and 2009. He will most likely be there to promote his latest movie, the controversial comedy The Interview, co-starring his friend Seth Rogen (who I really hope makes a cameo in the episode). The musical guest for the episode will be Nicki Minaj, who will appear for the second time as a musical guest.

On December 13th, Martin Freeman will host. Freeman has broken through as one of the finest actors of his generation, recently stealing the show on Fargo and winning an Emmy for his amazing work on Sherlock. This will be his very first time hosting. Charlie XCX will also be the musical guest for the first time.

The Christmas episode will be hosted by none other than five-time Academy Award nominee Amy Adams, who will host for the second time following her 2008 appearance. She will be dropping by to promote the prestigious drama, Big Eyes. The musical guest for the episode will be global superstars One Direction, who will make their third appearance on the show.

SNL has made an effort to really pull out all the stops to make their fortieth season their strongest, and so far they are succeeding. We all look forward to James, Martin and Amy’s episodes, but first, Cameron Diaz takes to Studio 8H tonight, with musical guests Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson!!
